Hey guys!! I’m so sorry for the lack of updates, but I’m so busy with life recently!! Trying to balance everything is so difficult, and I have to be honest with that. It’s really so difficult trying to have a social life, school life, personal life etc. But I’m back to bring you a post because Wishtrend sent me their newest product, the Green Tea & Enzyme Powder Wash!
I have been using this every night for the past week, at night and so far, all I can say is, I love it! So, let’s get started with this first impressions post! Also, if you don’t know, I’m obsessed with anything green tea. My favourite drink from Starbucks is the Iced Soy Green Tea Latte. (okay way out of topic)
By Wishtrend’s Green Tea and Enzyme Powder Wash comes in a light green bottle which is about more than half full of product. It feels very light at first, but it’s actually 70g! It’s a powder wash, meaning you pour out some powder and add water to create a foam. For me, I usually pour out a coin-sized amount (or maybe even more) and add a few drops of water before creating a foam.
Some product details:
Ingredients: Sodium Bicarbonate, Sodium Lauroyl Glutamate, Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate, Zea Mays (Corn) Starch, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Powder (2%), Lysine HCL, Proline, Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate, Acetyl Methionine, Theanine, Carica Papaya (Papaya) Fruit Extract, Sorbitol, Papain, Betaine, Cellulose Gum, Citric Acid, Sodium Hyaluronate
It is a slightly acidic moisturizing cleanser (pH 5.5) and it is recommended for oily and acne-prone skin (aka. me!!) Green tea powder is a powerful antioxidant and is one of the best cleansing tips is Asia! The sodium carbonate also acts as a gentle scrub which is great for blackhead care!
The first time I placed the foam onto my face, I was so amazed by the scent. It smells exactly like green tea, and I love it!!! I really was so tempted to eat it… so lovers of green tea, you may have to struggle with yourself because it really smells damn good!!
As for how my skin felt after cleansing, I can say that my skin really doesn’t feel stripped of any moisture, and it doesn’t feel dried out (some cleansers can do that). It also makes me feel like cleansing is such a fun step because of how good it smells!!
Along with all the good things, Wishtrend has recommended that people with sensitive and thin skin, should try to limit themselves to using this 2-3 times a week. But I don’t have really thin skin, so using this for 1 week was okay. I coupled this with the Mandelic Acid once or twice, but I really wouldn’t recommend that for people with thin and sensitive skin. I would think that oily and acne-prone skin types would really benefit from this product! This was also my first time trying an enzyme wash, and I’m so thankful that it works for me!
Would you like to try this product? This product is going to be launched on 10th November on Wishtrend, but look out for opportunities because I know Wishtrend usually let their members try products!! *fingers crossed*
But I am totally amazed by the product so far, and I can’t wait to see how this is going to be part of my routine permanently in the future!! Hope you enjoyed this post and I’ll see you guys real soon, okay!!
