Finally back to give a short update on my Korea Solo Trip! It’s been such a long series, but it’s my last part in Gwangju/Mokpo! I didn’t have any plans for my last day because I thought I’d be too sad to do anything LOL. I visited Mokpo University where most of my friends studied, and Emma was so kind to drive me from Gwangju to Mokpo University, and give me a short tour of the campus!
I guess Korean Universities are super different from Singapore’s… the campus feels so much bigger and prettier for some weird reason! Also, in Spring, all the trees have cherry blossoms blooming…! I want that in Singapore too!! But we don’t have four seasons so I can continue dreaming 😫
I think that tower shows that the back gate is near, and apparently, the back gate areas of universities are the most happening! Even though Mokpo University is super 시골 (countryside), it felt like a breath of fresh air before heading to Seoul! Found a nice cafe to chill and people watch while waiting to meet some friends before taking a bus back to Gwangju. Thank you, everyone, for showing me around while I was there!!
Chanced upon an amazing sunset while on the road back to Gwangju, feeling kinda sad because I’ll be leaving my friends and such a nice place 😭 #emotional (is it me or are sunsets overseas the prettiest?)
Packed my bags and took the train the next morning to Seoul! I love this brand of coffee in the convenience stores, I tried almost every single flavor and I’m happy to say that they all taste good! Ok, this is such a depressing post because it’s about goodbyes but Seoul definitely was an amazing time as well! I can’t wait to start posting about Seoul, it’s definitely somewhere in my calendar… but stay tuned!!
I’m super swamped with school nowadays, with my deadlines and everything, so taking some time off for this post was super therapeutic! I hope you enjoyed it although (honestly) there’s nothing much 😅
