Hey everyone! Today’s post is going to be a little different, it’s going to be a bit more personal. I want to share bits and pieces of my life, just to update you guys about what’s happening in my life. I started (or restarted) this blog during my summer break, and during that period, I had loads of time to curate, edit and plan out my posts. But ever since my sophomore year started, and it’s getting difficult to balance everything in my life.
It’s only been a month since the new semester started, but it feels like it’s been ages! The amount of stuff I have to commit to is… crazy. But yet, I don’t feel drained. Tired, yes definitely, some nights I sleep so late and wake up at 6 am the next morning for classes. I’ve been drinking Starbucks so much lately, I think the person will recognize me sooner or later 😂 Despite the busy-ness, I still feel motivated to post at least once a week, I still edit and arrange my posts nicely for everyone’s viewing pleasure, mainly mine 😅
So what have I been busy with?
This semester, (actually since the end of last semester) I am a committee member of my school’s exchange student club. So basically, we handle exchange students and organize events for them. So far, we’ve brought the exchange students to Pulau Ubin in Singapore. We’re also in the midst of planning a food trail for them, so I’m going to be even busier! But I’ve also made some amazing friends, I even went for dinner and had a few bottles of soju with Korean exchange students!

I’ve helped a friend out with their graduation shoot, met up with friends for dinner dates, so basically my social life is on the rise. I am super happy with this, but here comes the issue of trying to balance other aspects of your life. I have to balance this along with my school life which includes studying, catching up with lectures, tutorials along with the club meetings. Also, I have to balance this with my blogging life, where I shoot and edit photos, research on stuff and write reviews. I also have my personal life, resting, going to church, wanting more sleep etc.
Time management is so important in my life now, I have to wrestle with myself so much when I want to watch a Youtube video because I know there are so many other important things I need to complete. Once in a while, I do indulge myself in a few Youtube videos, listen to new songs here and there.
So basically what I want to say is, thank you guys for taking time to read my posts, you’re the reason why I feel motivated to continue blogging, I am always so thankful for the opportunities I get to review new products, and also for the fact that people want to read about my travel/lifestyle experiences. If you follow me on Instagram, you know I instastory quite often, so you can follow my daily happenings there!
I’m sorry if you were looking forward to a travel/beauty related post!! Those are definitely coming up and you’ll definitely be interested in them, I know I am!! 😆 Thank you for always being here, and I hope you look forward to the upcoming posts!!
